Features
- In contrast to other games excessive violence and especially killing is discouraged and unbenefitable. Thus you have to find your own way to solve the numberous missions along your path without using lethal weapons. You can take enemies on with your bare hands or use tranquilizing devices to knock them unconcious. Take advantage of the Energy based fight system to overcome your foos. If you knock somebody's energy low he will act completly different than if he has full energy. Get Physical Boost by triggering your Adrenaline-Meter to get out of desperate situations. But beware, what happens to your enemies can also happen to you.
- Use Lock-Picks or Electro-Hacker devices to open doors or disable various kinds of electronical devices. Hack computers or security terminals to gain entrance to shut of areas or to get yourself an advantage. Try finding entrance informations if you lack the skills to breach security systems. Trying to breach security system or hacking computer needs you to know how to pull this off and you as player have to solve puzzles to accomplish your attempt. Depending on your personal skills and your characters skills the task is easier and less risky.
- Use the advanced Talking-System to squeeze informations out of people. You can ask everybody about anything but not all are that talkative or even honest. Thus be aware that not everything you learn is true. Some people lie, some just are idiots and others do not know at all. It is up to you and your wits to find out what is really going on.
- Look around your surroundings to misuse objects for the most crazy contraceptions. Use everything as sort of weapon if you want to knock off your enemies or try to build up a nice trap to catch them. Play MacGyver and dazzle your oponents with creativity. Mind that you do not need to knock out all enemies to progress. It is often enough to decoy them to achieve your goals.
- Take advantage of different camera perspectives and the Dragon-View mode to get a much better and more lit up view of your surroundings. Some Character Skills (like Low-Light Vision) can only be used in the first-person camera. Use the Movie camera to get cinematical camera views and to turn the game into a cinematical experience.
- Use Bionical Implants of Characters equipped with them to get throught tight and deadly spots. Use their Neural Interface to gain entrace to computer systems and security panels or stick to their Vision-Enhancer Implant to have a better insight into the current battle ground. Bionical Implants do not lie around on the street but perhaps you can find some.
- Solve missions in team work with up to all team members working in parallel to achieve the goal. Give them orders and proceed with all at the same time or position them at key points to be able to proceed on a certain path more easily. You have got the most time more than one team member at your disposal. Decide yourself if you stick together or if you want to split up and approach your task with two or more troups.
- Check the abilities of your team members and develop them independently to help the team the most. Each Character has his unique skills and abilities. Trying to learn them skills that they are not able to by nature will be difficult wheras natural skills are developped rather easy. For abilities to get better you have to use them successfully and it becomes harder the better you get. But do not slack off on our abilities or they might decrease. You do not have to mind for what abilities you want to spent experience points as the abilities raise with their usage.
